  IND-GP-SKT

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

 


  • Troubleshooting electrical problems on plant equipment

  • Performing routine and preventive maintenance on the plant’s internal and external electrical equipment

  • Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls and making minor changes such as force time adjustments

  • Assisting in planning, upgrading, and startup of internal projects and equipment

  • Maintaining accurate records of labor hours, documentation of preventative maintenance, and service orders

  • Adhering to all OSHA and National Electrical Safety Code regulations and procedures

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED

  • An Associate’s degree or higher in electrical technology or at least two (2) years of electrical experience in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment 

  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and holiday


  • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day

 

 

 

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:



  •  Working knowledge of industrial test equipment with troubleshooting and electrical skills

  • Experience interpreting process, instrumentation and electrical drawings

  • Experience with Control Logix, Device Net and Control Net

  • Experience with 480 volt motors

  • Experience troubleshooting process equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)

  • Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing Allen Bradley PLC and variable frequency drives
