The Product Engineer will be a critical part of the design, development, and delivery of products critical to the success of Data Aire products. This position involves developing applications to advance the performance through the use of Machine Learning/AI tools into the numerous markets served. Additional duties may involve the development of internal tools for process improvements. Requirements include the active participation and responsibility toward results in the core functions of Product Development, Applications Engineering, and Controls Engineering. Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the design and technology integration in support of new product introduction: Coordinate project work to meet the completion time and requirements of the internal/external customers.
Contribute to the design and support of systems using a strong technical understanding of the industrial refrigeration system design.
Experience in the application of machine learning in Mechanical Systems. To include Fault Isolation, Robustness, Adaptability, and Interoperability tools.
Development of smart tools for reducing energy consumption modeling and applications.
Develop theories and execute tests to validate those theories on refrigeration, mechanical and control technologies and methods.
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: C, C , Python, Java. Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, high-performance computing, algorithm design and problem solving.
Contribute to research and development through broad understanding of current state-of-the-art HVAC advances and emerging technologies.
Communicate project output in terms of customer value, business objectives, and product opportunity.
Experience in analyzing large scale data from a variety of sources.
Ability to select and size of mechanical components based on the project specific design requirements and company standards.
Develop and release full documentation packages for new products and product improvements, including mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials, installation guidelines, operation & maintenance guidelines.
Qualifications Key Capabilities:
Knowledge and understanding of refrigeration, mechanical and control system design and implementation.
Understanding in research, prototyping and development of new products.
Experience with designing product for manufacturability and serviceability.
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
