Prudential’s Workplace Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated, energetic, highly conceptual Video Production Director who sees video as a powerful business tool. The Director will be responsible for creating innovative solutions for B2B and B2C markets.
The Video Production Director will be a seasoned project manager with the ability to carry a project through from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have creative vision, technical mastery over all aspects of production-including planning, filming and editing, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to connect with customers. This position will manage a team work alongside Art Directors and Copy Editors.
This position has the acumen to understand how business and communication objectives translate to their work to help drive business results. An in-depth knowledge of industry best practices helps guide creation of all deliverables without undermining their creativity. This candidate must possess a sophisticated aesthetic sense, a dedication to innovation and a love for the convergence of video and technology. Reporting to the Vice President of Creative, this candidate will work on a wide variety of challenging projects that stretches across external and internal audiences.

Requires BA/BS+ 10-12 years production experience or advanced degree+ 8-10 years experience.
The ideal candidate must have prior video and motion graphic production experience, excellent communication skills, demonstrated project and budget management skills as well as a in-depth understanding of the creative development process.
Lead, cultivate, and grow an existing team of multi-disciplined video creators.
Create new processes and practices to improve project speed and quality.
Guide the ideation process in early phases of projects to turn good video concepts into great ones.
Conceptualize, pitch and create new video programs.
Lead the concept/writing, production/execution, post-production and distribution process.
Collaborate with product marketing, product, sales and other internal partners to define the best video approach for any given campaign or business goal.
Manage the pipeline of work to maximize resources and ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and on brand
Direct key, high visibility projects to ensure we're making best-in-class video
