**This role can be located in any of Henkel North America Offices**
Collaborates with business leaders, HR and other key stakeholders on labor relations and positive employee relations strategies
Chief Company spokesperson in collective bargaining negotiations and lead the negotiations team to strategically prepare for scheduled negotiations in collaboration with appropriate HRBP, Plant Manager and legal partner.
Prepare documents related to labor relations activities.. Proactively assist with response to and management of grievances.
Represent the Company in arbitrations in collaboration with local HRBP and legal.
Partner with business leaders to develop and maintain positive labor management relations Support M&A activity, divestitures, footprint optimization and outsourcing activity involving unionized facilities in NA.
Partner with legal and benefits teams on retirement plan topics and strategies for unionized employees Independently develop and maintain good working relationships and build trust with labor union representatives.
10+ years significant labor relations manager and employees relations experience in union and non-union environment
Bachelors degree is required, Masters Degree highly preferred
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a complex, matrixed multi- location environment and knowledge of employment laws, rules and regulations .
Must be willing to travel 40% of the time
Demonstrated effective leadership and ability to build relationships with all levels of employees . Proven success in effective stakeholder management
