Advance your career as an Associate National Account Manager (NAM) at Georgia-Pacific.  This role will have account support responsibility for Georgia-Pacific’s Sam’s Club business.  The Associate NAM will be accountable for supporting all activities related to driving the growth of Georgia-Pacific’s Sam’s Club business including enhanced reporting, improved sales forecast, and developing strategic customer-focused recommendations. 


 
The Associate NAM position will be based in Rogers, AR.  


 

Responsibilities:


  • Support the Sales relationship with Sam’s Club by profitably anticipating the Customer’s needs

  • Utilize available tools to practice economic thinking and measure GP and Sam’s Club growth contribution

  • Develop and maintain enhanced reporting to provide actionable recommendations to Sam’s Club and internal partners

  • Become a knowledge expert on the Sam's-GP business while leveraging available team resources including category management, finance, supply chain, and customer planning to maximize results

  • Support NAMs forecasting, future demand management, Annual Business Planning (ABP), commercial strategies, and overall business plans

  • Provide sales performance and recommendations to achieve IDM and ABP while optimizing profitability

  • Identify gaps between customer plan (ABP) and customer or internal feedback then provide action-oriented resolutions to deliver ABP goal


 

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years of proven CPG experience is required.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

  • Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 15% of the time is required. Must possess a valid US driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Consumer Packaged Goods environment; Sam’s Club experience is preferred.


 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:


  • Cross-Functional Team Player (Sales, Customer Investment, Brand); ability to respectfully challenge the team to deliver upon customer commitments

  • Strong Communication Skills including oral, written, presenting and listening

  • Proficient use of trade tools, ROI results and planning programs to manage all activities with the customer

  • Ability to manage projects with fluid timelines    

  • Knowledge of Joint Business Planning Processes

  • Demonstrated capability for continuous learning in a highly competitive, fast changing retail environment

  • Maintain and uphold compliance standards. Comply with all Federal Anti-Trust laws as well as Georgia-Pacific
