ITHAKA is seeking a Senior Web Analyst to lead the organization in leveraging Google Analytics to drive product, marketing, and other decisions. Evidence is one of our core organizational values, and this role is crucial in enabling us to utilize data to drive insights. As Web Analyst you will craft approaches and analyses that inform and enhance our offerings of JSTOR and Artstor; our platforms that make academic journals, books, documents, images and other materials available to millions of learners around the world.

The Senior Web Analyst role sits within the User Insights department, a team of data analysts and user researchers driven to provide rich, meaningful, and actionable data about our users. On the Insights team we all have our own specialties and expertise; we also recognize that our work is most impactful when synergized together. We are looking forward to welcoming a Web Analyst with Google Analytics expertise to complement our team.
The Senior Web Analyst is the central administrator of Google Analytics for ITHAKA, focused primarily on our platform products: JSTOR and Artstor,. This includes translating stakeholder and organizational data needs into strategic architecture and approaches within Google Analytics. In collaboration with business, engineering, and quality assurance teams you will execute implementation and analysis of site performance data. You will be responsible for all aspects of Google Analytics management from approaches and governance to implementation and troubleshooting. This is a role with a great deal of autonomy; the right candidate will be self driven within their own work.
