The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is accepting applications for a part-time Facilities Technician for the Tri-Lakes center who will enthusiastically represents the YMCA by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job through the four character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The Facilities Technician will create a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals while working with a team to help maintain the cleanliness of the facility and participate in the setup and take down of scheduled events. They will also assist with minor maintenance projects.
This candidate must have flexible availability as we are hiring for the following shifts:
Sunday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, Tuesday - Friday 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
Sunday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:00 pm -12:00 am
MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES:
Must be 18 or older
High School diploma or equivalent
All YMCA staff positions require certification in CPR/AED-Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Oxygen Administration. Preferred candidates will have current certifications however training is available.
Previous Experience preferred
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
Perform general cleaning and upkeep of facility and grounds
Responsible for cleanliness in assigned areas to include, sweep, mop, dust, vacuuming, clean windows, refrigerator, bathrooms, plunging, showers, empty trash and recycling
Assist with snow removal
Clean locker rooms and showers
Assist with setups and take downs
Assist with moving furniture and equipment
Assist with annual facility shut down with assigned responsibilities
May require various shift assignments
