The User Experience Researcher plans and executes design research and testing activities to create understanding and empathy around user needs. This position advocates research findings to internal stakeholders through written reports, information visualization, and presentations. The output of these research findings will inform user experience strategies and influence design refinements for Verisign products and web properties.
Conduct frequent, iterative usability tests to better understand the customer and provide actionable insights to design team.
Work closely with UX designers to collaborate on improved user-centered experiences, iterating and validating design concepts.
Partner within the design, product and marketing teams to identify research topics and plan research initiatives for both generative and evaluative purposes
Research, develop and understand user segments for various products and projects.
Support design team on prototyping initiatives for testing purposes
Partner with internal market researchers to help synthesize qualitative research with ongoing quantitative research.
Support project team members in transforming research findings and insights into innovative solutions, in order to inform both user and business problems and deliver measurable outcomes
Create artifacts, educational tools, experiences and processes that help build and evangelize UX Research within the larger organization
