DESCRIPTION SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

RN - ACT (ALCOHOL CHEMICAL TREATMENT) INPATIENT
OGDEN REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse Manager, the RN delivers direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The RN effectively interacts with patients, significant others and all health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The RN communicates the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention and promote collaboration within the health team.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required) (BSN preferred)

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

* Current Utah RN license in good standing

* Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider

EDUCATION:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

EXPERIENCE:

* 1 year experience in chemical dependency/psychiatric setting or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field.
