We are seeking a “hands-on” Sr. Organizational Learning & Development Specialist responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and administration of training and organizational development programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, abilities, and productivity of the company’s employees.
The Specialist will work under limited supervision, identifying needs, producing and facilitating learning solutions for all levels of employees. The role will demonstrate the highest level of training concepts, including training session design, facilitation and instruction. The Specialist will utilize project management skills to define and meet project milestones, communicate issues and risks in a timely manner, manage customer expectations and deliver results.
Learning Management System Administrator - Lead resource for LMS administration Reporting and user support. Ability to facilitate programs effectively across multiple platforms.
Curriculum / Course Creation - Determines the proper blend of instructor- led, hands-on, and web- based training to be used in a given solution; using innovative learning methodologies to reflect content, audience, and business needs.
Facilitation and Measurement - Coordinates the implementation of curriculum and content with internal customers and Training Delivery partners. Facilitates live sessions and organizes training materials for multiple delivery channels to promote learning and usability. Serves as business lead for metrics and continually evaluates the effectiveness of training by implementing post- instruction evaluation tools and criteria.
Needs Assessment - Develops a consultative relationship with key stakeholders and conducts needs analyses, which articulate the current state, end state, and gap to which the development is targeted. Works with internal partners and subject matter experts to identify new training needs, map them to the appropriate competencies, obtain information and validate courseware content.
Vendor Coordination - Supports effective vendor relationships and their relevant use. Including evaluating scopes of work and invoice processing.
Supports other related roles to meet business needs.
4 Year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Business, Liberal Arts, I/O or Org Psychology – with practical HR or OD focus)
8+ years of related experience (Client based delivery of professional service-oriented results and solutions)
Experience in a corporate or mission-based organization with multiple constituents, partners or “clients”.
Practical application of instructional design experiences or approaches
Administrative experience with an LXP and/or LMS (Degreed preferred)
Experience with coaching methods, project and change management
Reporting and Analytics experience
Experienced in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
Experience with eLearning design is a plus
· Licenses and Certifications:
Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) Preferred
· Development Dimensions International (DDI) certification
