Job Description:

Data Entry Specialist


Scion Staffing ( has been retained to conduct the search for a contract Data Entry Specialist for our client, a reputable medical practice in San Francisco, CA.





  • Validate and enter patient information into system

  • Access external websites to verify patient information and insurance information

  • Research physicians with no address and/or name using multiple resources

  • Monitor transport activity and take inbound calls from crews to validate paperwork

  • Make outbound calls to follow up with medical crew members and agencies to obtain missing paperwork/information

  • Log quality assurance trips in electronic records management system

  • Other Duties as assigned.



  • 1-year of clerical or data entry experience

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, constantly changing environment and have a strong attention for detail

  • Advanced customer service and phone skills

  • Dependable and self-motivated.

  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude



Total compensation is dependent upon experience but ranges between $19.00-$21.00/hourly
