Job Description:

Koch Glitsch is looking for a Sales Support Representative to provide administrative assistance to our Process Engineering team and several outside Sales Managers (about 25 people).  This role is located in our corporate headquarters in Wichita, KS.


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:



  • Assist with initial setup of new RFQs and company setup

  • Finalize and send or upload several quotes per day (average is about a dozen per day)

  • Store all documents both for new inquires and quotes to an electronic document control system

  • Assist Sales Managers with Entering Orders

  • Provide some typical Admin assistance such as maintaining vacation and sick time, distributing mail, or answering rollover line

  • Monitor and respond promptly to general requests through phone system and general info Wichita mailbox

  • Prepare and distribute weekly Loss and Order reports as well as some daily reports

  • Primary Administrator of Sales Database program: grant user access, update customer terms and conditions, help clean up customer names and addresses, etc.

  • Most requests and activities must be completed same day or sooner

What You Will Need:
Basic Requirements:

  • 2 years of administrative support experience

  • 2 years of sales support experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Internet Explorer)

  • Experience with document control/management systems

  • Associates degree or higher

  • Ability to work overtime, if needed. (Most commonly, this position stays late to get quotes issued for the day. Only occasionally is this past 6:00pm.)

  • Experience in a fast-paced, sales environment

  • Prior experience providing excellent customer service and interacting directly with outside customers Knowledge of the customers in the Refining & Petrochemical Industries

  • Working knowledge with sales database programs, INFOR PLM and INFOR LN
