Job Description and Responsibilities:
Works on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
Requires experience in testing digital and/or analog systems.
Ability to read complicated drawings and utilize mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Knowledge in Ion Laser (Argon & Krypton) recommended.
Responsible for performing the set-up, calibration, testing, and
troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical
assemblies.Works with mechanical, electronics and optical concepts and components.
Clean and align the optical elements (lens, prisms, and mirrors).
Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from
blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
Welding skill a plus.
Education and Work Experience:
Typically an AA degree, military technical training or their equivalent
vocational training is required
