WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE*

Act as an Ambassador of Dassult Systemes to increase awareness with Governments and Institutional ecosystems as well as develop influencers' networks including trade bodies, French Chambers, innovation centers, etc. Define and implement GEO Public Affairs strategy to support the GEO business development and diversification and thought leadership positioning. Promote the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as game changer for society and industry transformation.

Contribute to the definition of the annual Global Affairs & Sustainability strategy for the GEO concerned, in line with the priorities defined for the GEO and in collaboration with related GEO MD, Industries and Sales channels, in order to participate to government initiatives and promote Dassault Syst mes s positions

Monitor and analyze geo-political and legislative situation and risks, and develop related policy positions
*

Map the influencer and decision maker networks and nurture relationships with them
*

Generate and share position papers in order for Dassault Syst mes to be identified as a key partner in major government initiatives
*

Identify and map possible public funding opportunities for Dassault Syst mes
*

Support GEO diversification strategy by detecting business opportunities and increasing awareness
*

Act as Dassault Syst mes s advocate and increase corporate awareness through support of corporate events, organization of Dassault Syst mes s positioning at major conferences or roundtables, or of meetings with official delegations, etc.

YOUR CHALLENGES AHEAD

Leverage all relevant stakeholders ecosystems to raise the visibility of Dassault Systemes, stressing that we are deeply embedded in the economic fabric of the countries of the Geo, including:

-Government officials (Federal and State/Provincial)/Governmental departments and agencies/National Labs, Institutes, and Research Centers/Universities

-Trade and professional organizations: industry organizations, etc.: renewing membership of only the most relevant and maximising membership via speaking opportunities, networking within membership etc

-Think tanks & Innovation Centers (partly or fully funded by governments such as the manufacturing institutes, etc.)

-French Embassies including with the Economic Attaches, Scientific Attaches, the Ambassador themselves/Business France

-The French Chamber of Commerce

Position 3DS spokespeople in all relevant fora to democratise and flesh out the Industry Renaissance concept: e.g. working groups set up by Government/Innovation Centers on relevant issues. National Institutes and Labs. Also, position 3DS through the development and delivery of targeted papers and presentations to influence key topics.

Monitor political/ policy environment to help colleagues across the GEO to understand in which context we operate/what are the key topics that will position us as thought leaders and to anticipate challenges and potential lead opportunities (e.g. trade changes, tariffs, and uncertainty hitting business; public funding opportunities, etc. ) and influence political agenda if possible (e.g. on Industrial strategies, education and skills policies).

-Leverage synergies with industry to target universities and customers at a more strategic level to appear as trusted advisors rather than just as a sales-focused organisation, targeting deans of universities to explain the power of the 3DX platform

-Lead and support implementation of a robust STEM strategy so that 3DS is clearly perceived as a STEM champion, increase employee engagement and build trust in customers that we can be partners in empowering the Workforce of the Future

YOUR KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Master's Degree in Political Science / Public Policy
*

Technical experience within a computer software company (preferred)
*

Working experience in the public sector (government/public affairs/public relations and/or lobbying association) and significant experience in innovation driven sectors
*

Strong knowledge in public/governmental decision-making processes and parliamentary process
*

Development of a significant network, which allows the candidate to cultivate a vast ecosystem
*

Strong communication skills, both oral and written
*

Strong analytical skills.
