Job Description: Basic Job Functions: The Accounting Supervisor's role is to supervise accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets and scrap inventory. Ensure all accounting records are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices. Supervise and manage the month-end accounting system close process and produce all Corporate and Divisional reporting requirements. Supervise external and internal audit processes while ensuring proper internal controls are in place. Provide analytical support to other departments as it relates to accounting issues and drive continuous cost improvements across all aspects of the business. Responsible for staff training and the development and growth opportunities for Finance Department teammates to achieve success in accomplishing individual, team, and company goals. Minimum Qualifications: Accounting, Finance, or Business related Bachelor's Degree Five years of work experience in an Accounting related field One-year work experience in supervision or leadership
Preferred Qualifications: CPA, CMA, or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Experience in several of the following disciplines: Credit and collections, information technology, financial analysis, project management, people development, procurement, human resources, contract management, risk management, internal controls, business law.
