Main Objective: Drive manufacturing efficiencies and performance enhancements with financial and operational considerations.  Lead the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout product lifecycle. Ensure manufacturing requirements: cost, capacity and technical feasibility are vetted and appropriately managed within the capabilities of the AMI manufacturing area.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Leads, analyzes, and implements necessary changes in manufacturing resource utilization

  • Develops cost metrics for in-sourcing and/or outsourcing AMI produced products

  • Collaborates with Finance to develop and ensure accuracy of Cost/Standard data reporting

  • Leads and develops analytics for Commercial Business Team to support capital expenditure decisions

  • Designs output simulations for new and existing infrastructure performance

  • Creates demand modeling scenarios for existing product changes and/or new product introductions

  • Leads and develop cost/capacity analysis for new product demand and capacity

  • Works cross functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve production efficiency

  • Presents key performance indicators of capacities, on-time deliveries, and inventory levels 

  • Collaborates with Commercial Business Team to forecast appropriate inventory levels of components and finished goods

  • Leads and manages capacity requirements gathering

  • Provides input to Master Schedulers to streamline and design efficient delivery sequences

  • Collaborates with Commercial Business Team to assure adherence to policies and best practices

  • Assists in establishing corporate S&OP process

  • Collaborates with internal and external organizational stakeholders to build consensus plans  

  • Manages requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle

  • Balances Commercial business requirements with technical feasibility and sustainability

  • Creates and owns master data file for Commercial Business Team

  • Occasional travel for training, meetings or trade shows may be required

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering field.  

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • SAP experience required.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:


  • Ability to perform analytics favoring data visualization. 

  • Ability to negotiate with outside vendors and suppliers.

  • Ability to lead meetings and projects.

  • Full working knowledge of materials management systems.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:



  • Experience working with project management software, QA software and Microsoft Office Suite.
