Scion Nonprofit Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been retained to conduct an immediate search for a Registered Nurse - Operations Manager for our amazing nonprofit healthcare client, located in The Dalles, Oregon. What You Will Be Doing

-Direct and supervise clinical services including budget creation and oversight

-Provide support and leadership to clinical staff members

-Build, motivate, and retain a high-performance team focused on quality and timely patient care

-Design and execute policies and procedures

-Conduct audits to examine and enhance organizational operations

-Utilize electronic health record system to analyze data, create reports and optimize workflow

-Hire, train, coach and mentor team members to help them reach their full career potential

-Administer conflict resolution, create performance improvement plans, perform disciplinary action and dismiss employees as needed 

-Make sure supplies are stocked and equipment is working properly for an optimal patient experience

-Perform schedule coordination and fill where needed to make certain business needs are met

 

What You Have to Offer

-Experience working as an Operations Manager, or in another highly similar role within a medical setting

-Must be an RN with a clinical degree and a current Oregon and Washington license

-Current CPR certification

-Medical terminology knowledge is a requisite

-Familiarity with the health care industry and HIPAA regulations

-IV and venipuncture skills as well as experience operating medical equipment

-Proven management and leadership abilities

-A humble, flexible, servant leader, who is willing to jump in anywhere as needed

-Intermediate to advanced level proficiency required in EHR systems (Epic preferred) and MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)

-Expertise in scheduling, clinical policies and procedures, and patient flow

-Experience partnering with hiring managers and executive leadership to create and implement operations best practices

-Expertise onboarding, training, mentoring and retaining personnel

-Knowledgeable in performance management and employee relations

-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field

-Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

-Ability to travel locally to multiple nearby sites as needed

-Fluency in English & Spanish is a plus but is not mandatory

 

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a starting of $73,000 to $77,000 per year, plus a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, a retirement plan with up to a 6% employer match, paid time off, sick leave and paid holidays, as well as the ability to make a direct impact in the local community!
