Under general supervision, perform a variety of teller transactions based on the member’s needs as well as to sell XFCU financial products and services to XFCU members and potential members. Thoroughly understand and adhere to credit union standards, policies, and procedures. Communicate to members effectively. Assist with member transactions and account issue resolution as required.



  • Primarily responsible for transaction posting, account setup, and maintenance while following established XFCU policy and procedure guidelines.

  • Build positive relationships with members, ability to assess member needs and recommend financial solutions.

  • Maintain sales contact, pipeline, and other pertinent sales referral activity reports.  

  • Meet assigned referral goals.

  • Assist members with consumer loan, deposit, and technology based engagement tools.

  • Responsible for proactive sales initiatives including product referrals, account opening, and cross-selling new products as directed.

  • Ensure Financial Center quality service standards are maintained and are consistent with established XFCU goals.

  • Ensure cooperation/teamwork and assist other staff members as needed.

  • Responsible for handling Financial Center in-bound calls and providing product service information.

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all credit union products, policies, and procedures.


  • Minimum of one (1) to (5) five years of experience. 

  • Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements as it pertains to the job function.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and in teams. 

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems. 

  • Must have working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
    Associate degree or equivalent 1-year experience preferred. 
    Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team. Communication skills including written, oral, and presentation skills are required. Must be able to perform complex analysis and produce professional documentation with recommendations. A strong bias for action is essential.
    Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    Ability to compute rates, ratios and percents, draw and interpret graphs, and accurately extrapolate probable outcomes from sampled data.

The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet, to moderately noisy, where automated equipment is in operation. It is a non-smoking environment.
