Annual Enrollment Period Project Manager

Overview:
Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Operating Effectiveness assignments/projects. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Operating Effectiveness but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities:


  • Owner of Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) Open Enrollment Period (OEP) and 1/1 Readiness Integrated Project Plans, managing schedule and timelines across multiple functions for aligned delivery.

  • Manage timeliness of deliverables from project leads from 10-15 departments in partnership with Senior Manager.

  • Work collaboratively across project team members and matrix partners to identify risks and key dependencies, mitigation strategies, and action plan to resolve issues and cross-team impacts.

  • Ensure effective resource management (capacity and skillset) across the business and IT.

  • Partner with matrix organizations to ensure that appropriate action is taken to identify and implement delivery requirements.

  • Utilize established project and program methodology to lead the execution of multiple project plans. Partner with the Program Management Office, Business Readiness, and other experts to create and augment new processes as needed.

Requirements


  • 5+ years of Project Management and/or Business Readiness experience

  • Strong influencer and collaborator, able to work through others and build relationships within the organization.

  • Ability to effectively lead initiatives in a matrix environment through influence and teamwork

  • Strong engagement and communication skills, with proven ability to create clear and concise messages for multitude of stakeholders

  • Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas

  • Experience in change management evaluation, planning and execution. ADKAR experience desired.

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

Preferred Requirements

  • Project Management certification preferred (i.e. PMI – PMP, CAPM, etc).
