Job Description:

Space Coast Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Member Service Specialist for our Airport Branch in Melbourne FL. 

If you enjoy a variety of tasks, like to interact with the public, have the ability to multi-task effectively, and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service, this is the job for you! Your excellent communication skills will enable you to easily adapt to SCCU's sales culture and maintain effective referral techniques for all SCCU products and services.

As a Member Service Specialist, job duties will include processing transactions including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments, selling monetary instruments, assisting Members with various services which may include entering and exiting safe deposit boxes, processing check orders, Call 24 applications, opening and closing consumer loans as scheduled, processing changes, explaining various loan products and payment options such as dealer and private sale auto loans, credit cards, mortgage loans, equity loans and various insurance products.

Requirements:

6-12 months prior experience in cash handling and providing customer service.  Experience referring products and services or retial sales helpful.  Experience servicing new accounts and consumer loan closing within a credit union, banking, or savings and loan environment is preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalency

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Full Time, during branch operating hours; see below.

Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 6:30pm.  Friday 7:45am - 7:15pm.  Saturdays: 8:30am – 1:30pm, Alternating on Rotation.
