PositionSummary: The Case Support Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that case turnaround times comply with departmental standards, and that Pathologist and Client expectations are met by coordinating patient case logistics. The Case Support Supervisor provides leadership to the Case Support Specialist team, and manages the schedule for Case Support Specialists to ensure the required coverage.
Assist the Manager of Path Support with coordinating and distributing assignments to employees within the department and ensuring shifts are properly staffed
Manage ADP and staffing for Case Support Specialists, to schedule time off and backfills as required
Provide leadership, motivation and training to the Case Support Specialist Team
Directly supervise the Case Support Specialists, responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees. Planning, assigning and directing work
Appraise employee performances, reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve concerns. Meet regularly with employees to review their Neo Connect
Prepare pending reports, specimen logs and volume reports on a regular basis
Other duties as assigned by the Medical Director, Manager and Manager of Path Support.

Education: High School Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred
Three or more years of equivalent experience working in an administrative support capacity - medical environment preferred.
Knowledge of clinical/oncology-specific terminology preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal skills
Ability to interact appropriately with colleagues, Clients and Pathologists
Strong organizational and leadership skills, attention to detail, and follow up skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining a high rate of productivity and high level of quality
Must be able to tolerate stressful situations and demonstrate strong problem solving ability
Must deliver a high level of accuracy
