The Recreation Therapist plans, organizes, implements and evaluates a comprehensive programof therapeutic recreation activities underthe supervision of the Cl inical Manager,As a staff mem ber,he/she can expect to care for the adult and geriatric psychiatric patients. The behavioral health Recreation Therapist effectively and therapeutically interacts with adult and geriatric patients, significant others and other healthcare team membersand demonstrates knowledgeof the specific psychosocial conditions and treatment therapies for the patient populations served. The behavioral health Recreation Therapist adheres in the delivery of care to hospital policies and proced ures.
* At least 1 year of therapeutic activities coordinator in an inpatient environment preferred
* Bachelor's degree preferred
