Marketing Cloud Consultant:

Salesforce Marketing Cloud are seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant to become part of the AMER services team to drive maximum value and success within our customer base. The Marketing Consultant will work with a portfolio of clients on complex, global enterprise brands and work directly with them in developing and implementing a cohesive approach to levering our technology to achieve business goals through the delivery of a program engagement. A successful Marketing Consultant leverages deep understanding of email marketing in combination with Salesforce Marketing Cloud application knowledge.

In this role within Salesforce Marketing Cloud's Professional Services, you will work collaboratively with other Marketing Consultants and directly with clients to help them evolve and optimize their marketing strategies and tactics. This consultative position is primarily focused on one-to-one email communications; however projects often require evaluation of overall interactive and direct marketing programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide consultation on one-to-one communication development, best practices, and optimization efforts for existing clients, primarily focused on email marketing
*

Develop a shared vision (among the client and internal teams) for evolving the client program
*

Define the strategic vision and objectives for the Services team in a Program Charter/Roadmap
*

Working with others to articulate execution of plan
*

Measuring effectiveness of recommendations
*

Input to project schedules for client projects.
*

Interface with numerous internal groups to deliver service to clients (Sales, Project/Program Management, Design Services, Deliverability Services, Product Management, etc.).
*

Contribute to intellectual capital and best practices on email, SMS, Social Media, interactive, and direct marketing.
*

Client presentations, on-site work-sessions, and correspondences
*

Work with the Account Director to maintain a clear understanding of client stakeholders, their roles in the organization, and their sphere of influence
*

Maintain professional and productive rapport with key stakeholders (line level and executive)
*

Develop relationships with progressively more Influential stakeholders
*

Participate in recruiting efforts and make hire recommendations
*

Conscious of budget, utilization, forecasts and services margins
*

Actively participate in the Marketing Consultancy practice
*

Facilitate and contribute to the Quarterly Business Review

REQUIREMENTS

*

Experience in direct marketing, direct response concepts, customer analytics, research methodology, and statistics with businesses in multiple industries/verticals (B2B/B2C).
*

Experience leading a marketing team at a Director (or above) level and comfort combining business case evaluation, idea-to-reality planning, data analysis, and creative marketing to build best in class programs.
*

Strong knowledge of direct marketing industry including content strategy, email deliverability, online user experience, Social Media, Mobile as well as familiarity with the email service provider industry.
*

Strong knowledge of relational database technology, specifically as it relates to Customer data (i.e.: web analytics, CRM, Microsoft Access, and Profile data).
*

Strong knowledge of Interactive Marketing Channels (i.e.: SEO, SEM, PPC, Ad Management, etc., as well as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud channels (email, mobile, social, sites).
*

Power user of Microsoft office, including strong proficiency in PowerPoint Presentation development and in Excel, including V-lookup and macros writing experience. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including onsite presentations experience to large groups and C-level marketers.
