NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Navy Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NDFG is seeking subject matter experts (SME) who have experience and knowledge related to Navy repair and maintenance for the each of the following platforms: submarines, surface ships including aircraft carriers and naval aviation. The contractor will interface and assist the technology team in developing the next Navy-Wide maintenance software solution. This will be a temporary position up to 2 years.

Major duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Providing in-depth knowledge of all facets of Navy maintenance processes and technical requirements.
Providing a high level of proficiency and understanding of ship or aircraft material readiness requirements.
Providing knowledge of all aspects of fleet modernization programs including the planning and evaluation phases.
Coordinating and integrating aspects of the Baseline Project Management Plan (BPMP) to the program development team.
Provide experience and knowledge related to Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) applications and systems: Optimized Intermediate Maintenance Activity (OIMA) and Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA).
Focusing and aligning continuous process improvement and standardization initiatives.
Working closely with the product development team to explain and capture the Depot (D), Fleet Intermediate Maintenance Activities (I) and shipboard (O) level maintenance policies, programs and processes as outlined in the governing technical documents.

Requires a bachelor degree or equivalent.

Minimum of 15+ years of related experience.

Secret clearance required. Must be a US Citizen.
