As a team member, you'll build a breadth of knowledge including distributed systems, predictive analytics, and machine learning. You will design, develop, and deploy analytic pipelines to answer questions across multiple business areas and disciplines.

As a Data Scientist, you will contribute with:
Analysis: Architect, design, and build data analysis pipelines working with large and complex data sets. Monitor churn and revenue trends. Develop customer analysis advanced metrics and visuals, by collecting and integrating data from various sources, including market research data and internal databases.
Partner with internal teams to address complex business questions and provide insightful analysis and strategic recommendations through strong storytelling capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide ongoing tracking and analysis of industry trends, channel trends, segment trends, purchase drivers, satisfaction/gap analysis, and customer/segment demographic and behavioral profiles.
Visualizations - Create visualizations to effectively convey the information discovered through analysis.
Other analytical techniques - Performance of scenario-based outcomes and predictions i.e. device price elasticity, predicted impact of a credit deposit change, predicted impact of device price change.
Algorithms & Inference: Executes parts of the modeling process (requirements, design, delivery and measurement (accuracy rate and ROI) of predicted models, forecasts and other statistical techniques. These outputs can be leveraged in a variety of ways.
Data Mining Models - Prediction of customer behavior i.e. voluntary churn, likelihood of payment, response to an outbound campaign, fraudulent behavior.
Segmentation Models - customer/geographic segmentation identification i.e. target segments, market segments.
Forecasts - Prediction of enterprise metrics i.e. defects, gross ads, customer base, calls to care, device sales and bad debt expense.
* Design experiments, build dashboards, and evaluate & define metrics to improve business performance.
Able to develop complex solutions independently.
Extensive experience with data analysis tools such as Python and R
Excellent understanding of several statistical and machine learning models
Ability creating and operationalizing models and other advanced analytics
Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Impala, Hadoop
Proven ability to meet tight timelines, estimate level of effort, multi-task and prioritize workload
Bachelors + 5 yrs relevant experience required in Statistics, Math, Finance or another quantitative field
Experience in the customer retention and loyalty areas
MS/PhD in a data related field such as mathematics, economics, statistics, or similar
Minimum education:BA/BS or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 4-6 years
Travel: Up to 25%
