Inter-Con is currently hiring a PMO Director reporting to the Executive Vice President. The PMO Director will be a key element of change and responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading the execution of a series of strategic, company-wide initiatives.
Manage strategic cross-functional programs that include, but are not limited to, the following lifecycle activities: technical product requirements, training, legal, marketing, recruitment activities, and client communication.
Assess current technical systems and platforms and drive key change management programs.
Assess and analyze existing business processes, identify opportunities, and drive projects to further improve department processes and performance, with a specific focus on quality, staffing efficiency, responsiveness, cost containment, and standardization of work.
Lead project planning activities and facilitate project meetings, ensuring deliverables against commitments with the highest quality, in a timely fashion.
Leverage strong project management industry expertise and collaboration skills, identify required activities to successfully deliver the program, ensuring appropriate task assignments are in place.
Establish and manage expectations through-out the project lifecycle, while following defined scope management best practices.
Collaborate with Functional Managers to manage key performance metrics.
Provide regular status reporting, product roadmap updates, supporting the change management process, assist with annual planning, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Participate in other project related activities, as requested.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with leadership and management qualities that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision.
Fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of rapidly changing security industry and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
10+ years' experience as a project manager, or related fields, delivering complex business sponsored projects.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field; Master's degree or MBA a strong plus.
Solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices; PMP preferred.
Understand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to drive project results.
Have strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders: Client representatives, Inter‑Con employees, staff members, senior and executive management and 3rd party vendors.
Strong affinity and ability to learn and adopt new technology.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
Familiarity with all aspects of software development life cycle.
Go-to-market/commercialization aspects of introducing a new product or feature to the market is a plus.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
