Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, performance improvement process, and safety standards including proper lifting techniques, fire safety, operation of all linen delivery equipment.

Ensures that departmental procedures are followed in connection with collecting soiled linen, folding and storage of clean linen.

Customer requests are filled and delivered in a professional and timely manor including preparing any off campus deliveries. Delivers linen as scheduled. Documents linen par amounts.

Manually folds linen as required and checks linen for holes or damage. Removes any damaged linen from service.

Completes cleaning assignments per departmental guidelines. Includes sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash removal. Maintains work area free of excess linen or other objects that could become a tripping hazard.

Follows departmental procedures for restocking delivery carts, par level carts and nurse servers.

Removes any stained linen from the finish process and returns it to the vendor. Any linen reprocessed that does not meet standards is removed from service.

11pm-7:30am

Holidays, weekend rotation and cover vacations.
