Royal Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate Vice President of Retail Operations to join our team.  


The VP-Retail Operations is responsible for strategic planning, management, and execution of Royal’s retail business.   Responsibilities will include accelerating growth, retention, profitability, and Member experience goals for the department and ensuring consistency and process integrity across all retail office locations.  


A successful VP-Retail Operations will grow retail deposits, manage profitable retail branches, increase market share in physical branch locations, improve/maintain team member engagement, achieve annual goals and business plans, and produce consistency in processes and Member experience across all retail locations. 


Work Schedule and Office Location:

This is a full-time, exempt level position generally working Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM with additional hours as needed.  This position will be based out of our Edina, Apple Valley, OR Corporate Office (Eau Claire, WI) based on candidate preference.   The position will require 40 – 50% travel per month throughout Royal’s footprint.  

Required Skills:

If you are someone who is passionate about strategic leadership, has a strong sense of ownership, and a positive attitude, this role may be for you!  A minimum of three years of supervisory experience, extensive knowledge of retail branch operations (deposit/loan) and related procedures, and the ability to communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values are required.


Strongly Preferred Skills:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree

  •  10 years of work experience in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.    

  •  Project management skills and experience. 

  •  Strategic leadership
