We are seeking a hardworking a Senior Designer – Marketing to join our marketing team in San Francisco or Seattle. You will work directly with marketing and broader organization to design website, sales, and marketing collateral.

What you'll be doing:

  • Web page conversion optimization: In conjunction with marketing lead, create tests to optimize onsite conversion

  • Case study layout for print and web

  • Trade show booth design

  • Refining existing collateral

  • Crafting illustrations for print and web

  • Web page creation/existing page redesign

  • Developing presentation slides


  • Work alongside the marketing team to help brainstorm, develop, and finalize a variety of creative materials for digital and print

  • Establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively

  • Bring solutions and new ideas to the table that help to convey NGINX branding and messaging accurately

  • Maintain a list of ongoing projects and tasks simultaneously


  • A minimum of 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.

  • Experience with (or at) advertising, design, and/or interactive agencies contributing to the creative for campaigns, print, digital display, landing pages, out of home, websites, direct marketing, social, and more

  • Creative portfolio demonstrating ability to develop concept-driven work and design-minded solutions

  • Background in enduring the rigors of dynamic projects and demanding creative environments

  • Be a dedicated teammate, eager to work in a fast-paced team environment with constantly changing requirements

  • Experience using Figma, Sketch, and Adobe creative suites, such as Photoshop, Illustration, and InDesign

  • Experience using presentation tools, including Microsoft and Google

  • An understanding of HTML/CSS
