The primary purpose of this position is to act as a liaison between business units and technology teams while coordinating and leading the delivery of technical business solutions projects of all sizes. Projects include new initiatives as well as the maintenance and improvement of existing technological initiatives. The incumbent must be able to quickly grasp business concepts and facilitate discussions to identify high level business requirements and needs.
Successful candidates will:
Collaborates with team members across the organization to identify technical business solution opportunities.
Consults with management and team members to review project requests and determine goals, time frame, costs, staffing requirements, and allocation of resources.
Formulates and defines project scope and objectives of project.
Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
Facilitates effective workgroup sessions with multiple stakeholders.
Creates effective user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases following Agile methodology.
Prepares project status reports and keeps leadership, clients and others informed of project status and related issues.
Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
Develops and maintains technical and project documentation.
Coordinates with stakeholders and technical teams for successful delivery of technical business solutions.
Builds strong relationships across the organization.
Represents the mission and values of Compeer Financial and complies with standards of conduct and security policies.
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, information systems or computer science; or equivalent education and work experience.
3 - 7 years of software systems administration or related systems experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications and other applications/software used in the daily functions of the organization required.
Solid knowledge of process improvement and project management systems.
Solid organizational, verbal/written communication, project coordination and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Critical thinking skills, high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn and change in a dynamic environment.
Proven client service skills and effective team skills.
