Designs and Delivers system solutions to support both new initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within Procurement/Integrated Planning across the Global Organization in alignment with overall company goals and IT strategies
Ensures that the business teams responsible for managing the Procurement/Integrated Planning functions get the solution and support they need to perform their jobs efficiently.
Support the day to day work of the Procurement/Integrated Planning by offering help, advice and troubleshooting the IT systems that have been implemented
Actively participates in projects, workshops and working parties, or carries out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit, that will benefit the individual, the Division or the Company as a whole.
Supports the Procurement/Integrated Planning teams in ensuring that the operations of the organisation are captured, processed and reported appropriately.
Participates in the delivery of projects, enhancements and new systems by working with the Solution Design team, other IT Teams and the user community & Global IT teams to define functional and technical requirements, deliver technical solutions, build unit test scripts/scenarios and develop any necessary technical supporting documentation.
Collaborates with other IT teams and internal departments to deliver technology solutions that meet the system and process needs of the region and Global organisation.
Support the day to day work of the Procurement/Integrated Planning team(s) by offering help, advice and troubleshooting on the systems that have been implemented.
Works with the Solution Design team to research and evaluate solutions to meet the documented requirements, agreeing the most appropriate solution with the local/global users and global IT team.
Uses analysis techniques to analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements for enhancements and projects.
Design and test the solution that meets the Business needs.
Work with the user community to perform an analysis of issues and managing the resolution process.
Participate as part of implementation projects as assigned
Work with Local & Global IT resources to ensure that projects stay on track
Communicate technical project progress to the project managers.
Testing and Quality Assurance/ Quality Control
Perform unit testing of code, integrations and overall system and develops any necessary technical documentation.
Assist QA in developing any necessary QA testing documentation.
Assist in the resolution of QA defects
Liaison with the development team and other departments
Develop a strong understanding of Deckers systems and interdepartmental relationships, ensures that all systems implementations/changes take into account any operational impact and work with the teams concerned to appropriately integrate with the company’s systems.
Responsible for ensuring those solutions meet requirement specifications, adhere to best practices and are reliable.
Compilation of reports and documents as directed
Ensure programming and change control policies are adhered.
The solutions implemented add value to the organization by increasing sales, reducing costs or removing errors.
Ensure that there is a constant improvement in efficiency within the functional area responsible for across the global organization.

Experience with ERP systems with specific knowledge of Procurement functionality

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or related work experience. (Preferred)
2-3 years experience as a Business System Analyst or equivalent business experience in Procurement
Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement /Planning (Advance supply Chain Planning) modules with good functional understanding of P2P flows
2-3 years of SQL experience. Familiarity with Oracle EBS data model preferred.
Good communication and Customer Facing skills.
Experience in designing extensions, interfaces, requirement analysis, and configuration of Oracle EBS especially in P2P/Planning Modules
Good Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite technical architecture, underlying table structures in procurement/planning modules and implementation cycles.
Experience in preparing Functional design, Configuration documents like MD050, MD120 & BR100’s.
Ability to work cross functional/global and development teams during the design, development and testing processes
