Job Description:

This position can be located in New York City or Cincinnati.

Position Summary

The Account Director, Financial Services will lead activities for key Claritas partners in the Consumer Data and Direct Marketing industries.  This position is responsible for channel revenue quota attainment by driving sales of Claritas data assets through our partner’s direct selling channels.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Networking and building relationships with executives, product owners, and sales leaders within the assigned channel partners

  • Drive awareness of and affinity for Claritas products within our partner product development groups and sales teams.

  • Be evangelistic for Claritas solutions and develop strategies for partner adoption of Claritas data assets.

  • Proactively track and manage partner performance; take corrective and reinforcing actions to drive growth in sales activity levels and royalties.  Understand and measure risks and opportunities and stay on top of channel performance trends at all times.

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the assigned financial client.  This includes new partners and new opportunities within existing partners.

Monitor key industry trends impacting clients and Claritas solutions, and develop strategies to help partners win with Claritas solutions

Skills, Education and Experience:

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • Strong sales experience, proven record of quota attainment.  Strong command of sales processes.

  • Targeting marketing, Digital, CRM, Direct Marketing, Agency, Advertising or related field experience.

  • Digital marketing concepts and firm understanding of the digital ecosystem

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent collaborative and influencing skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Desire to work in a team environment

  • Excellent organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail  

  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines 

Highly preferred:


  • Strong working knowledge of Claritas Segmentation and Core data assets

  • Experience within the Financial Services industry – Banking, Insurance or Credit Unions

  • Experience with Sales and Marketing automation tools and environments such as Salesforce
