Player Profile 


  • Must be continuing education in Fall of 2020 pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD (Computer Science focus preferred) 


  • Available for a 12-week internship starting in late May or late June 


  • Ability to demonstrate superior programming and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and reliability

Internship Opportunities & Requirements  

 

Central Technology

Graphics Programming Intern (Redmond, WA): Work on problems such as procedural geometry, shader optimization, stereoscopic 3-D rendering, and GPU microcode optimization.  


  • Working knowledge of C++ 


  • Experience with at least one game-related domain (graphics, networking, embedded systems) 


  • Multi-threading, optimization, and/or artificial intelligence algorithms are a plus 


  • Practical facility in a language such as Perl or Python 


 

Programming Intern (Playa Vista, CA): Participate in R&D projects related to performance capture and character animation. You will also assist in developing, maintaining, and supporting asset creation pipelines and tools which integrate with different specific studio pipelines.  


  • Solid knowledge of Unreal Engine or C++ and object-oriented programming practices 


  • Knowledge of mathematics for 3D graphics, particularly linear algebra 


  • A passion for research and innovation 


  • Experience with computer vision, numerical optimization, and Maya is a plus


  • Qt/PyQt/PySide development is a plus 


 

Programming Intern (Portland, ME): Work on console, PC, and mobile, including problems within render architecture, systems programming, GPU microcode, procedural geometry, ray-tracing, and performance analysis and optimization.  


  • Working knowledge of C++ 


  • Experience with at least one game-related domain (graphics, networking, embedded systems)
