TransCore – Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc, (NYSE:ROP) is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant III to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Job Summary: Performs administrative support in the Human Resources department. Processes various forms related to documenting Human Resources activities such as new-hire, job requisitions, change-of-status, terminations, etc. Manages contingent labor, assists with site recruiting efforts, maintains employee files and data in Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitates entire new-hire process, including opening job requisitions, creating offer letters, requesting background checks and drug screens, etc.
Coordinates the termination process including paperwork, notifications and processing in the HRIS database.
Coordinates high volume contingent labor ordering and processing including payroll hours submission.
Maintains accuracy of employee information in the HRIS database. Enters from source to documents into the HRIS including employee status change forms.
Sets up and maintains employee files both paper and electronically. Follows retention policy on purging of files.
Screens applicants and manages online applicant tracking system. Assist with recruiting efforts including outreach, job fairs, creative recruiting, etc.
Provides general information to customers on benefits, policies, HR processes, etc.
Occasionally assists with employee engagement events.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources department, especially supporting recruiting and contingent labor management.
Must be customer service focused.
Must possess excellent time management skills and be very detail oriented.
Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with grace.
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures to tasks.
Ability to operate a variety of standard business machines such as copiers and scanners.
Experience with Microsoft software applications and HRIS required.
Expected to work independently on routine tasks and receives limited supervision on new tasks.
