Come join us and you'll lead our marketing and branding team - part of the Richmond Fed's Corporate Communications group - to develop and implement strategies that will engage our employees and external audiences. Directing our marketing, branding, design and digital/social media efforts, you'll build awareness and increase stakeholder engagement through campaigns and initiatives that creatively 'tell our story' - who we are and what we do to strengthen the economy and our communities - as part of the nation's Central Bank.

Key Responsibilities


  • Partners with internal stakeholders to develop and implement innovative marketing and communications campaigns to raise the visibility of the Bank's research, community engagement, programming and other initiatives.



  • Collaborates with business functions to understand strategic priorities, identify and develop strategic marketing and PR initiatives, and deliver on analytical solutions, reporting, system enhancements and process improvements that drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.



  • Engages in strategic media planning, including the identification of opportunities in traditional and social media channels; builds relationships with key media and social influencers.



  • Serves as a spokesperson, as required, to engage with media and various external stakeholders on behalf of the Bank on a variety of issues.



  • Serves as the steward of the organizational brand, including brand experience and reputation management.



  • Defines and delivers campaign performance metrics, tracking and reporting.



  • Provides management oversight for creative workflow, traffic management and content planning.



  • Collaborates with marketing professionals, social media experts, business unit leaders, cross-functional partners, development teams, content professionals, videographers, and communication teams to define and create engaging brand experiences, both online and offline.



  • Plays a leadership role in the interactive design process from concept through implementation.



  • Collaborates with technology solutions services, web development and usability teams to enhance digital delivery channels.



  • Supports Federal Reserve System initiatives, as designated, to enhance coordination of marketing and outreach programming across larger System projects.



  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
