The Data Specialist, Customer-facing Master Data coordinates the master data process from end-to-end. Works with Business Teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Provide efficient and accurate data entry to Master Data into required system of record. Manages and performs data cleansing, de-duplication and harmonization of data across and within enterprise systems. Raises potential data integrity or regulatory compliance issues to the businesses.
Ensure that Master Data management methodologies include the steps, activities, and deliverables required to consistently achieve high data quality.
Work closely with Business Teams to identify quality metrics and thresholds. Own and publish reports related to quality metrics along with root cause analysis and mitigation options to the end user community.
Define and execute process to monitor data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, establish consistent data definitions, and monitor overall data quality for assigned data entities.
Support Business Teams in their effort to adopt and execute on data management processes. Identify opportunities and implement solutions to increase team efficiency.
Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
Manage and perform data cleansing, de-duplication and harmonization of data across and within enterprise systems. Raises potential data integrity or regulatory compliance issues to the businesses.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business, IT or related field.
Minimum two (2) years of data management experience.
Business experience in Marketing, Customer Service and/or IT.
Demonstrated planning, process & organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate in all mediums
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Solid software proficiency in Microsoft Word; high degree of proficiency in Excel (including formulas, subtotaling, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred
Ability to travel up to 20%
