Job Description:

Summary

The Program Analyst will have responsibility for building, maintaining, and testing the pathway based processes using the uPads pathway deisgner system specific to Cigna and the Cigna Business Unit. This includes conversion of clinical and business content into the system, addressing question and issues that arise from internal end users of those pathways, researching and fixing breaks or inefficient work flows to ensure daily operations are effective and efficient. Research will include the need to use SQL and excel to pull and organize data and generate reporting to monitor daily functions.

Minimum Experience Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, health sciences, mathematics or other applicable field or technical degree in a field relevant to the job duties.

Experience: 1-3 years prior job experiences demonstrating initiative, competency, and professionalism and success in the assign duties.

Required Skills


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Organizational skill to coordinate intra and interdepartmental efforts on small to medium projects.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office® Suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio

  • Ability to work with data and reporting tools to research, organize, and summarize findings for

  • High technical and functional aptitude for problem solving and process flow management

  • Ability to manage time and responsibilities in a fast paced, fluid environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work as part of a team on large projects

  • Self motivated and high level of personal initative
