MVM is seeking a Behavioral Research Fellow with three (3) full years of specialized experience within the Clinical, Social, Experimental or Behavioral Services.  With one-hundred percent (100%) onsite dedication to our client, the ideal candidate will assist in the administration of all Research Programs by conducting research utilizing conditioning and stimuli to study human behavior, protocol reviews, including methods, data collection and analysis, etc. to help understand behavior and find a competitive outcome advantage.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics):

  • DATA GATHERING AND ANALYSIS: Seeks or collects and synthesizes information from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective, unbiased manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment and to enable strategic decision-making.
  • STATISTICAL ANALYSIS: Uses descriptive or inferential statistical methods to collect, explore and present large amounts of data to discover underlying patterns and trends.
  • SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Provides knowledge or conducts studies of a body of information based on empirical or theoretical processes and principles in relation to scientific laws, arranged and communicated by qualitative and quantitative descriptions, and based on observation and experimentation.
  • COLLABORATION: Works cooperatively with others, inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships, leverage information, and achieve results.

Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis:


  • Implement behavior support plans under the direction of a Principal Scientist.

  • Assist in setting up technical exchanges, meetings, workshops, post-meeting follow up including reports, meeting minutes, as well as tracking and execution of recommendations and after-actions.

  • Assist coordination of calendars of IC and DOD personnel, and meeting logistics management.

  • Maintain pre- and post- course reviews and questionnaires.

  • Assist in critically reviewing and preparing technical documents for IC-wide dissemination and public release.

  • Maintain a log and repository of publicly-released science publication, reports, and briefings.  Post and maintain updates on research SharePoint and to IC websites.

  • Prepare draft taskers to include:  weekly activity reports, information papers, action memoranda, emails, and other documents.

  • Maintain broad situational awareness of the social and behavioral science literature and issues in related program & scientific areas.

  • Record management support:  monitor and assist in the management of IRB database, monthly reports tracking, and various spreadsheets for program area.

  • Conducting program and policy analyses to identify and understand the impacts, needs and preferences of behavioral service programs;

  • Utilizing a wide range of advanced qualitative or quantitative tools for the assessment of behavioral program effectiveness;

BASIC QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

  • CLEARANCE:  Active TS/SCI Clearance REQUIRED (Your application will not be considered if you do not have the required clearance)
  • EDUCATION: To qualify for this position, you must have a degree in behavioral, neuroscience, psychology, social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
  • EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that you have acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to academic or field research to include collecting and analyzing data, conducting experiments while following scientific protocols as it relates to human behavior analysis.
