Specialty Assembler (Leakbreaker) 2019-63
Perform a variety of duties in the assembling and final testing of products in the Hydronic Controls product line, maintaining acceptable productivity and quality standards.
Works from verbal and written instructions, fixed gauges and direct reading instruments. Uses hand tools and test stand fixtures and small presses.
Performs routine bench assembly operations of both the power head and the body. Checks tolerances and fits.
Mount acceptable units on specialized test fixture and start. Check light indicator to determine if unit meets quality requirement. Will repair defects as required to bring pieces to acceptable quality level and retest. Refers questionable cases to supervisor. Label units with required labels and package as required.
Maintains necessary records. Moves very light material as necessary in the performance of job. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and any unusual conditions to proper supervisors.
Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
Perform other related duties as required or directed.
High School Diploma or GED
At least 3 months of experience in a production environment, preferably as an assembler/tester
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and effectively apply to assigned work
Ability to navigate multiple windows in company Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system to access production and resource data
Ability to perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness or activity, and including standing and lifting
Ability to manage time effectively to meet strict time deadlines and production volumes
Requires judgment to comply with instructions, prescribed routines, methods and practices
