The Senior Regulatory Business Analyst works within the regulatory quality team to create processes and tracking mechanisms that help ensure Medical Care Solutions is meeting quality standards and is continuously ready for regulatory audits. This team member designs, develops, and implements quality assessment tools to support regulatory reporting needs, provides data reporting and analysis during all stages of the regulatory audit process, and works with business units to implemented quality programs and implement process improvement strategies.

Specific Responsibilities:

Providing complex analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations.
*

Developing, preparing and analyzing reports with complex analysis and data for management review, and presenting to various levels of management.
*

Defining business requirements and providing analysis to increase operational efficiency. Analyzing actual results against targets and recommending interventions, where appropriate.
*

Identifying opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notifying management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention.
*

Working cross-functionally in analyzing, designing, and developing business solutions. Providing analytical support for multiple, complex, cross-functional projects simultaneously, establishing work plans and timelines, coordinating with internal and external sources.
*

Performing other duties, as assigned.

* Exceptional analytical and business reporting skills. Experience with SQL and other reporting tools as well as the ability to use statistical analysis to interpret meaning of data is preferred

* A minimum of five years experience in healthcare and/or compliance reporting. Five years experience

* Familiarity with process improvement systems, tools, and strategies such as Agile, LEAN, and Six Sigma.

* Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player, successfully lead and positively influence cross-functional teams, and provide subject matter expertise.

* Excellent verbal and written skills and strong business judgement with the ability to convey and understand complex ideas.

* Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision.
