Your Mission: The Sr. Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for supporting daily Accounts Payable processes.
Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment. Utilizing scanning system to review for accuracy and process invoice/payment
Review and process employee expense reports for compliance with company’s travel and expenses policies and procedures
Process weekly payment batches, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
Assist AP team with monthly accounts payable reconciliations, IRS 1099 compliance reporting, and audit/SOX support such as inquires and gathering supporting documents.
Investigate and resolve issues associated with processing of invoices
Work cross functionally with regional finance teams
Look for areas of process improvement to ensure efficient and effective processing of AP and T&E transactions
Assist in ad hoc projects as needed
Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense systems and procedures
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Ability to work in a paperless, high volume, fast paced environment with strong organizational skills
Innovation – a desire to continuously improve systems and workflows
Good understanding of the end to end P2P process, including supply chain and able to demonstrate knowledge of the full cycle
An extensive knowledge of the Procure to Pay cycle in Oracle (R12) is desirable, with a proven track record as a subject matter expert
Great IT skills, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel to macro level, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Reporting knowledge, able to produce reports using Oracle Business Intelligence tools
Experience with Readsoft/Kofax scanning solution preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Accurate with a strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and respond appropriately to urgent matters
