Purpose:

~ Primary responsibilities include oversight and management of all Marketing Financial and Budget activities.  ~Act as SME and main point of contact for HMA Finance and Accounting, relative to Marketing spending.

 

Major Responsibilities:

~ Act as the primary liaison between the Marketing department and Finance; interact with senior management/executives within Marketing/Financing/Accounting to review marketing related budgets/spending & analysis.

~ Provide daily direction/supervision to reports.

~ Determine daily workload balance, assign and monitor work of direct reports.

~ Oversee and provide direction for all Marketing billing activities.

~ Manage, create, entry and tracking of all Marketing Purchase Requests, POs and Check Requests.

~ Oversee and direct the monthly and year-end preparation of accruals, including interfacing with Agency Finance/billing and HMA Finance personnel to confirm accuracy and resolve problems.

~ Oversee preparation of the monthly Advertising/Promotions Spending, report including analysis for executive management review.

~ Provide Marketing Program Managers with individual key spending reports at month-end, including analysis of spending versus Budget and YOY.

~ Oversee the preparation and upload of templates for monthly dealer payments and billings.

~ Manage and coordinate all activities related to the preparation and submission of the Marketing Department annual budget.

~ Interface with vendors to resolve billing/payment problems.

~ Prepare and deliver monthly HDAA Assessment reports and maintain Assessment tables in SAP.

~ Interface with HMA Regions as needed to resolve billing/payment issues.

~ Attend monthly Advertising production budget meeting and provide feedback/insight as needed.

~ Ensure that all production estimates and ATBs are routed for approval in a timely manner.

~ Interface with Marketing management as needed regarding resolution to budget/spending concerns.

~ Support SGM and executive management with planning and developing materials related to annual budget, mid-term plan, and various executive updates.

 

Authority:

~ Provide daily supervision, direction to and evaluation of Marketing Billing Associate. 

~ Liaison between Marketing and Finance—act as an authoritative representative for the entire Marketing ~Department as the role interacts with senior management and executives.

 

Education:

~ Bachelor degree preferred

 

Related Experience:

~ 8 to 10 years of related work experience, preferably in Finance and/or Accounting.

~ Prior supervisory experience highly preferred.

 

Skill/Knowledge:

~ Strong analytical skills and mastery of applicable analytical tools.

~ Exceptional Excel abilities, as well as other Office products.

~ Be organized, detail oriented and have the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.

~ Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

~ Knowledgeable/experienced with SAP preferred.
