This role supports the IS Project Management Office and has exposure to strategic initiatives across the firm. You will help to provide quality solutions by supporting a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the operation of PMO Core Services. Assignments include processing project leader requests, reporting and reconciliations and leading one or multiple small to medium scale projects with direction from a project leader and/or team leader. In addition, this role may contribute to large scale projects.
Preparation of reports, reconciliations and variance analyses may be required for certain programs and initiatives.
Assist with the setup and governance of projects requiring cross-functional teams to achieve the division and firm's overall business objectives.
Educate project leaders, associates & business owners across the firm on project management / agile concepts and best practices.
Document, monitor, and proactively recommend improvement to processes and controls related to area responsibilities; quantify business / financial impact for leaders.
Assisting in or leading creation of IS standard project deliverables for Project Reviews and reporting.
Intermediate analysis of project data to facilitate transformation of data into information and insights.
Analyze, detect, identify and correct problems and deficiencies in both data and processes.
Generate reporting statistics to identify trending issues.
Verbal & written presentation of analysis to department leaders & business owners.
Independently organize, plan & prioritize individual effort needed to ensure overall success.
Takes constructive action with direction from others while leader reviews non-routine outputs
Intermediate experience with Excel required; including working ability to utilize pivot tables, advanced charting, advanced formulas, conditional formatting.
1-3 years of experience leading projects.
PMP certification a plus.
Experience with Clarity preferred.
Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks/projects and adjust to changing priorities with leader input.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required as the position will facilitate group meetings and will be responsible for some communications.
