The Quality Assurance (QA) Cell Leader objective is to follow customer requirements, regulatory requirements and corporate policies to ensure the production of compliant products. The position objectives and responsibilities include

 • Ensure team compliance for quality assurance and customer provisions and criteria

 • Serve as an issue resolution focal point that works with engineering, customer service support, to drive continuous improvement in products and processes

 • Facilitate the collection of data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities

 • Provide leadership with the proper disposition of nonconforming material when participating in the Material Review Board (MRB) activities

. • Perform as an integrated team leader with engineering, customer service support, to investigate and correct various quality issues related to internal non-Conformances, product returns, supplier issues, customer complaints and corrective action requests with clear and concise reports to customers

. • Participate on cross functional team projects to improve the overall organization and to develop a career path and leadership, with coaching and assistance by the Quality Manager

 • ACE team lead for cell • Establishes priorities for cell turnover

 • Familiar with the following computer software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and a general understanding of quality procedures

. • Be able to follow written/verbal procedures and instructions

. • Possess good organizational skills. Follow all EH&S rules and guidelines. Support ACE and continuous improvement

. • Possess good people and communication skills

. • Experience with CMM and quality validation using a variety of tools.

Required Qualifications :

  • Associates Degree or Bachelors†Degree and 2 years†experience in a manufacturing environment OR

  • No Degree and a minimum of 5 years†experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings

  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering technical data to provide guidance to cross functional teams

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, project management and decision-making skills.

  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO..

  • Knowledge of Document Control and Calibration systems.
