Job Description:

This position is expected to have a good working knowledge of the printing process and digital printing and production techniques. Bindery knowledge is also an asset. The primary function is to produce simple to moderately complex products using digital printing equipment. Extensive training with regards to processes, procedures and equipment are an ongoing part of this job.


Required Education: GED/High School Grad or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:


  • 0-6 months printing, copy center and customer service experience


Skills:




  • Working knowledge of digital printing


  • Knowledge of press, bindery and production tools and equipment

  • Ability to learn and adapt through training to changing processes, procedures and equipment


Advertised Physical Requirements:


  • Climbing up and down on equipment, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on regular basis, must be able to stand for long periods, reach, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and communicate.


Departmental Preferences:


  • Experience with running high-end digital printing and finishing equipment


Supervision: No Supervisory Duties
