What you will do

The Pricing Analyst I is responsible for executing daily responsibilities including but not limited to special discount authorizations (SDA), SDA information loading into Sales Force, populating daily booking reports, compiling SDA opportunity reports for the sales team, and following general pricing processes to ensure success of financial strategies for Krueger.

How you will do it

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Support price optimization initiatives for Krueger

  • Work closely with the Pricing Analyst Manager to maximize pricing excellence efforts and true price capture

  • Evaluate SDA requests and provide approval of discount to sales channel representatives

  • Load SDA requests in Sale Force for sales team use

  • Assist with the set up and maintenance of marketing programs for representatives

  • Receive and respond to phone call and/or emails concerning pricing inquires

  • Populate daily bookings report in Excel for sales team

  • Support manager during pricing changes through system updates and multiplier schedule changes

What we look for


  • BA/BS in finance/accounting, economics, mathematics, or a closely related discipline from an accredited four-year College or University;

  • Two (2) years of pricing related experience and/or training required.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Proficiency with Office 365.  An individual should have a strong working knowledge of Excel including applying formulas to data.  


  •  Sales Force and AS400 experience is a plus.
