The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the Company’s ability to provide quality service to its customers by acting as a liaison between the operations personnel and vendors providing services on behalf of OnTrac, while maintaining contract compliance, therefore strengthening the company’s defensibility.

Responsibilities:


  1. Main point of contract regarding qualification needs for service providers and vendors. 

  2. Act as a liaison between the operations personnel and vendors providing services on behalf of the Company. 

  3. Assist in maintaining contract compliance by both operations staff and service providers/vendors. 

  4. Perform quarterly inspections on all compliance paperwork and qualification processes. 

  5. Document compliance; ensuring operations maintains all compliance documentation such as Insurance, Business License, DMV Permits, etc. 

  6. Communicate all findings and recommend courses of action with appropriate individuals. 

  7. Heavy communication with both Operations and RSPs ensuring contract compliance; ensuring strong, legal business relationships. 

  8. Heavy communication with employees of OnTrac, including Facility Managers and Upper Management, often regarding inappropriate business practices. 

  9. Train and inform OnTrac staff and managers on both proper communication with RSPs and on contract knowledge. 

  10. Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

 This position requires:


  • A high level of analytical skills, project management and accounting experience.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Responsiveness to employee and management feedback.

  • The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

  • The ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and documents.

  • The ability to function independently in a multi-tasked environment.

  • The ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet corresponding deadlines.

  • Schedule can be fluid.

Organizational Relationship:  

Consults and coordinates with the Vendor Relations Manager and works closely with facility management. Frequently communicates with independent owner operators.

Application:   

Proficiency in Windows applications: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Power Point. Will be required to become proficient in company specific equipment.

Work Environment: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions during travel situations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands:   

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear for extended periods of time. Occasionally the employee is required to lift and move objects of varying weights.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception. The employee will frequently be required to travel outside of the office approximately 60% of the time.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s Degree or two years contract compliance and Vendor Relations-related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of both. Previous knowledge of transportation industry, preferred.
