The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the Company’s ability to provide quality service to its customers by acting as a liaison between the operations personnel and vendors providing services on behalf of OnTrac, while maintaining contract compliance, therefore strengthening the company’s defensibility.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
This position requires:
Consults and coordinates with the Vendor Relations Manager and works closely with facility management. Frequently communicates with independent owner operators.
Proficiency in Windows applications: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Power Point. Will be required to become proficient in company specific equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions during travel situations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear for extended periods of time. Occasionally the employee is required to lift and move objects of varying weights. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception. The employee will frequently be required to travel outside of the office approximately 60% of the time.
Associate’s Degree or two years contract compliance and Vendor Relations-related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of both. Previous knowledge of transportation industry, preferred.
