Prepare product for shipment, including cleaning, limited inspecting, packaging, and shipping newly manufactured parts; insure product and documentation are correct. Perform a variety of production tasks as needed throughout the shop to maintain product flow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pull and issue packaging materials, shrink wrap parts, and provide label control sheets as required.
Ability to visually inspect parts.
Thoroughly clean and package finished and inspected parts according to customer specifications.
Check product for count accuracy and communicate variances with the appropriate personnel.
Complete all required documentation neatly and legibly. Prepare final paperwork for shipments and ensure completeness and accuracy.
When necessary, prepare product shipping labels utilizing a computer and ensure all required information is on packing slips.

Learn and practice daily any/all Lean practices introduced in the area.
Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisor and/or manager as deemed appropriate.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to use a PC to enter data and look up data, and/or print labels.
Mobility to bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces, and moving from one work station to another, alternately sitting and standing.
Lift objects up to 25 pounds throughout the day.
Ability to perform repetitive work more than 8 hours per day and, if required, weekends.
Ability to wear proper safety gear.
Ability to reach things five feet above the floor.
