Job Description:

JeffTemps, Jefferson's in-house temp service, is seeking qualified radiology professionals to fill a variety of temporary positions. Currently looking for all shifts: First, second and third, to work part or full time hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment in order to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Produces detailed images for medical diagnosis by performing a variety of imaging procedures.
- Explains imaging procedures to patient, obtains complete and accurate history relevant to examination being performed
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computer-based information systems to properly enter patient data and exam data into the Radiology Information System
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

EDUCATIONAL AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
x-Ray Technician
- Graduate of an approved ARRT program
- ARRT or eligible within one year DOH
- BLS Required
- Six months to one year of post registry preferred
MRI Technician
- Graduate of an approved ARRT program
- ARRT
- BLS Required
- Six months to one year experience required
Ultrasound Technician
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited ultrasonography program
- ARDMS registry required within one year of program completion for new graduates
- Certification from ARDMS or ARRT in sonography
- Minimum one year experience working as a medical sonographer in a group practice or medical facility
