RELATIONSHIP AND SCOPE:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a deputy position to the
Head of Corporate Operations Finance within the Operations Finance
Organization.  The position is
responsible for assisting in developing effective and proactive insights and
reporting on operational spend and other key financial metrics to
stakeholders.  Through the generation of
thorough business plans, forecasting spend and investigating and rationalizing
actual spend by evidencing variance rationale, this position will provide
information to the Head of Global Operations Finance and Operations Leadership
in support decision-making regarding Global Operations spend, investments and
strategic initiatives. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the development and analysis of the Operations
    strategic plan, annual budget, forecasting processes.

  • Analyze data and explain monthly, and year to date business
    results via detailed commentary and supporting variance analysis aligned to
    business drivers based on financial data provided by the Reporting Center of Excellence.

  • Work with the Reporting Center of Excellence to evolve and
    understand best in class reporting solutions aligned to stakeholder needs.

  • Collaborate with horizontal counterparts (Overseas, North
    America) to ensure consistent approach and interpretation of information
    received from the Center of Excellence (CoE) and translation to subsequent
    leads.

  • Provide pro-active financial support to Operation’s
    customers and Business / Finance community on their key initiatives and day to
    day management of financial performance. 

  • Seek opportunities to continuously improve stakeholder
    satisfaction 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or
    Finance

  • 3-5 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience,
    preferably supporting a back-office support function

  • Adapt in data management tools; highly proficient in
    Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as financial systems and budgeting tool
    such as PeopleSoft, TM1

  • Enthusiastic self-starter with eagerness to learn

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: written and
    verbal.  Able to succinctly compile
    commentary suitable for leadership consumption.


  • Solution oriented, customer centric, able to operate in a
    matrixed environment in a flexible and agile manner
